Department Mission

Quality special education services are woven into an integrated educational system in which students with disabilities learn effectively and achieve in the least restrictive environment. Our pupil services staff of school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists collaborate with school staff to improve the achievement of all students, foster students’ developmental, social and emotional growth, and assure a positive school climate. High quality school nursing services are provided to all students, with a focus on wellness and maintenance of health for students and staff.
